Extension of Validation Timeline by the IEC.

Dear TEYA General Assembly,

Subject: Extension of Validation Timeline by the IEC.

The TEYA Independent Electoral Committee (IEC) would like to inform the TEYA General Assembly members that the voter validation exercise, originally scheduled from May 18 to June 1, 2025, has now been extended until June 3, 2025.

New Validation Locations:
TEYA Centre – until May 31
Lt. Gen. Bior Asuod’s House, Hai Amarat – June 1 to June 3

The validation exercise on weekends will now begin at 10:00 AM instead of the previous 1:00 PM schedule. These changes were made to compensate for the lost time due to the mourning period following the unfortunate passing of a beloved son of Twic East, Hon. Deng Mabeny Kuot. All other scheduled electoral activities remain unchanged unless officially communicated by the IEC. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
