Twic East Annual Tournament Victory

On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, the final of the Twic East Annual Tournament was played at Gumbo Sherikat Playground. The match featured an intense showdown between Nyuak Payam and Ajuong Payam, ending in a thrilling victory for Nyuak, who claimed the 1st position in the Twic East Tournament. Their outstanding victories in the TEAT have made them a beacon of sporting excellence.

Twic Super Cup Triumph

On Saturday, July 12, 2025, football fans witnessed a groundbreaking event - the first edition of the Twic Super Cup at Buluk Playground, Juba. The match featured Nyuak SC, champions of Twic East, and Pan-Nyok SC, champions of the Twic Mayardit Peace Tournament 2025/26. Pan-Nyok proudly represented Twic Mayardit County, Warrap State, and the Bahr el Ghazal Region, while Nyuak represented Twic East County, Jonglei State, and the Upper Nile Region.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw in regular time and was decided by penalty shootout, where Nyuak SC triumphed and was crowned champions of the Twic Super Cup 2025/26. The Twic Super Cup was created as a platform to unite the two Twic communities from Twic East and Twic Mayardit through sports. The inaugural event was a massive success, drawing thousands of fans and community members.
